Doily is a lampshade that spreads a cosy atmosphere around it and works both as a ceiling shade and a table lamp shade. No glue is used during assembly, so you can change your mind later and put it back together however you like!
Doilys of all sizes are built mainly from the same wall parts: the small (S) has 4 corners, the medium (M) has 5.
Inside Doily live little ghost creatures. By changing the direction they dance, the shade is compatible with both narrow- and wide-base lamps. They are not easily frightened, but in the ceiling-lamp version they prefer to stay out — hanging upside down is apparently not their favourite pastime!
The material is white-painted birch plywood. The interior is left untreated to bring the warmth of wood into the light. Doily is designed and made in Finland!
